A big, well- bodied and vigorous wine, with a strong expression of fragrances . At first this wine send forth almost animal flavors ,then it gives off those sensation which are typical of a red Gaglioppo Cirò. It expresses slightly spiced aromas of ripe fruits ( red plums and strawberries) on the nose. On the palate the wine is well- balanced ,with good acidity and a long and harmonic finish.

Ageing:


After malolactic fermentation we proceed with the refilling and then with aging in steel for 12 months . The bottling has to be stored for about 3 months .

Winemaking  process :  grapes are de-stemmed and left to macerate at a room temperature of  18-22 ° C, then we performing repeated pumping  for 7-10 days, followed by racking and pressing of the pomace. The obtained must completes the fermentation at a controlled temperature in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks.
